The oaks of Denmark are endangered species. I selected seedlings of ancient oaks to be planted in the shape of a labyrinth protected by a stone ship. The ship itself is a recreation used in Denmark during the Viking period to protect the dead. The stone ship now surrounds endangered Oak trees which would have been used to make the original Viking ships. After many years of shipbuilding, the oak forests were significantly reduced. The oak trees planted inside of the stone ship are in the vein structure of the oak leaf.
